Parking Tips: Parking is very limited and is first come, first served. All vehicles must display the Valdez Parking Permit, which can be obtained in the main office. Please adhere to all motor vehicle laws when in the Valdez parking lot. An important note: 29th avenue is right turn only. If you are going east, you must exit Dunkeld – this is much faster. ***PLEASE watch for streetsweeping signs when parking in the neighborhood.***
Parking Permits: Parking permits must be picked up from main office. Parking will be limited to permitted vehicles and will be enforced this year – DO NOT PARK IN THE HANDICAP, as these are regulated by DPD, violations come with a $250 fine.
About our lunch: Escuela Valdez offers a free breakfast program for all students. Breakfast typically rotates 5 morning options which are district wide. Because our kitchen staff go above and beyond, our students can often enjoy items outside of the district norm, such as homemade quiche. Our lunch menu is also custom and includes a fresh fruit and salad bar. The salad bar is free to all students and often features Valdez exclusives: homemade salsas, spinach and blueberry salad, cucumber salad, kale chips and Colorado grown produce! We feed over 300 mouths through our state of the art kitchen on a daily basis. Because of this, lunchtime is limited to 20 minutes for eating. Interested in volunteering during lunchtime? Contact: 720-424-3316 or email: email@example.com. *Snacktime is classroom specific. ECE/Kinder has a classroom based calendar. Please contact your specific teacher or para with questions.
